Phoenix Professional Sports

The Greater Phoenix Area is home to 5 professional sporting teams that are great entertainment for visitors and residents alike. In addition there is Nascar racing, MLB Spring training and all major sports with the Sun Devils at ASU Arizona State University.

The Arizona Cardinals have been in the playoffs & the Superbowl recently and are a huge attraction in the Phoenix area. They play at Cardinals Football Stadium, part of  the Westgate entertainment district in the SW corner of Glendale right along ring road Loop 101.

The Phoenix Coyotes had a great 2009/2010 season finishing with 108 points and making it to the playoffs. Looks like they're here to stay and play at Jobing.com Arena in the heart of the Westgate entertainment district right across the parking lot from Cardinals Stadium

The Arizona Diamondbacks play in Chase Field located in Downtown Phoenix right beside the US Airways Center where the Phoenix Suns play basketball. There's always a good seat available at dozens of home games at a very affordable price.

Nascar racing comes to the Phoenix International Raceway located in Avondale just southwest of the I-10 and Loop 101 only 20 minutes west from Downtown. Catch all the excitement in November and April for great family entertainment.

March every year brings MLB Cactus League Spring Training to the valley. Fifteen teams spring train here at a variety of ballparks throughout the valley for inexpensive great family entertainment. Play ball....

The Tostitos Fiesta Bowl is a popular annual event played at the University of Phoenix Stadium....locally referred to as Cardinals Stadium at the Westgate entertainment district in Glendale.
